Heavenly Choirs
Angels are divided in tiers, or choirs, from 3 to 1, with 3 being the most close or active on Human Lives, and 1 being the closest to the COGNITOS.Tier 3 = Earthly Messengers
Angels
Guardian Angels or Common Angels are the closest angels to humanity; in the sense they are the one that most interact with Humanity.
Guardian Angels, as their namesake states, guard humans, as well as protect them from evil forces.
They also serve as messenger angels, sending messages and letters to humanity.
Leader: Archangel Gabriel.
Archangels
Archangels have the role as protectors of humanity, but have much more individual power than the other angel ranks.
They are chosen individually by the Cognito to carry out important missions. There are the main 7 archangels:
Michael(the Warrior)
Gabriel(the Messenger)
Raphael(the Healer)
Azrael(The Reaper)
Jophiel (The Beauty)
Zadkiel(The Loyal)
and Uriel (The Light of Wisdom).
However, Uriel’s position used to be that of Lucifer.
Other archangels exist, such as Raziel, Ariel, Seraphiel, among others.
Principalities
Principalities are the angels that guide and protect nations, or groups of peoples, and institutions such as the Church.
The Principalities preside over the bands of angels and charge them with fulfilling the divine ministry. There are some who administer and some who assist.
Tier 2 = Heavenly Rulers
Powers, Virtues and Dominations are known as the “angels of creation” because they concern themselves with the ordering of the universe and a plurality of causes
Virtues
The Virtues are known for their control of the elements, such as the wind, the earth, plants, fire and water.
In addition to being the spirits of motion, they also assist in governing elements of nature, such as storms. They also assist with miracles, as well as encourage humans to strengthen their faith in God.

Powers
Powers are the angelic representatives of all lawful authority, ecclesiastical and civil.
They are from the second order of angels composed of the Choirs of the Dominions, Powers and Virtues.
They are guardians that protect the gates of heaven, and fight off demonic powers.
They serve as the major line of defence and battle during heavenly warfare. Powers maintain order around planet earth and protect it from being overthrown by Satan and oversee the distribution of power among humankind, hence their name.
They also are said to guide souls into heaven.
Dominions
They are held to govern the movement of stars, planets, and other celestial objects. They also rule and govern over the angels under them. They can also work as Judges, and give directions on large scale events.
Their job is to assign duties and missions to the angels of the lower spheres and to maintain the cosmic order.
They are occupied by their concern for the interests of God and with any functions having for their end the government of the world or of the human race; they exercise a high control over the ministry of the lower angels directing them in the discharge of their offices to do the will of God.

Tier 3 = Godly Servants
The highest Choirs of Angels who dwell closest to the Throne of God are the Seraphim, the Cherubim and the Thrones.
All these holy angels are pure spirits of contemplation. Their holiness is so intense that the human mind is incapable of comprehending their levels of adoration and participation in the Divinity.
Seraphim
It is said that the Seraphim fly about the throne on which God was seated, singing their praises as they called special attention to God’s glory and majesty, relentlessly sang “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of hosts: All the earth is filled with his glory.”. These beings apparently also served as agents of purification.
Seraphim are known to defy the laws of the universe when commanded such as when one placed a hot coal against Isaiah's lips with the words, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for." It did not burn him, but instead healed.

Cherubim
Cherubim are one of the highest ranking of angels in the Christian angel hierarchy, second only to the Seraphim. They are the keepers of the Throne of Cognito.
They are described to have the head of a man, a lion, an eagle and an ox. Two of the wings extended upward, while the other two stretched downward and covered the creatures themselves. They are usually portrayed as having lower humanoid bodies or even one that resembles a sphinx. Some, however, have no lower bodies at all, instead having a human-shaped head in the center surrounded by four wings with its three animalistic faces positioned in the direction of those wings.
Ophanim / Thrones
Little is known about these enegmatic Angels. Ophanims are described as "wheels within wheels, with eyes all around them". Sometimes, Thrones appear in the form of elder humans, meaning that they can change shape at will. They're said to be carrying COGNITOS' throne, thust their second name.
