Angels
==> Angels are creatures of light, created by the Titan of Knowledge, known as COGNITOS.
They were created as Guardians and Keepers of all Knowledge, but later took on the role of Protecting Humanity upon their creation.
Angels are beings that emanate a lot of light. They’re half organic beings, having an outer shell made of a durable material, made of pure Light Energy, with the feel equal to porcelain.
Their Halo is also made of this material, with it being able to chip when hurt.
==> All angels have an "eye scarf" which they can customise and remove at will.
==> After the Fall of the Lightbringer, and the sudden disappearance of COGNITOS, the Angels fractured, leading to separate factions, the Heavenly Principles, followed by The Resistance. The two are in constant opposition, as their ideals clash.
But for angels, one thing is certain:
Hell is alive.
Hell is a gnawing cancer.
The Deepest layers of hell stretch down to the Abyss of nothingness, where it feeds of the Tree of Life, on its primordial energy, and continues growing. Angels can survive on the first few layers, but the only Demons can trully thrive down in Hell.
Demons are the remains of an Angel that has fallen, the first being Lucifer, the Lightbringer. It’s said that 1/3 of the heavenly choir fell with him in the aftermath of the rebellion.
Demons can appear in various ways. Most have grey and red skin. Their limbs are flayed, and the higher their choir was, the more deformed they look. Their Eye scarf turns into a binding chain, that can stop them from moving.
Because their connection to COGNITOS has been severed, they do not have an infinite source of energy, and require to absorb the SOUL energy of living beings, such as Humans. However, recently, The Lightbringer has been able to create their own source of Soul Energy, much to the confusion and suspecion of both Heavenly Chiors.
When an angel "falls", their skin cracks and falls off slowly, revealing their flesh-like interior.
The process of "falling" is when angels start replacing the light in their body with abyssal energy, and the porcelain skin reject this energy.
In their Demon form, they grow horns and tails. Some retain their wings, with them often having their feather fall off, or chared to look dark black. All angels have grey, red, purple and back parts of their skin, However, the deeper into hell an angel lives or resides, the more "cosmic" tratis their body becomes. They start emanating starry particles from all around their body.
